At Kent, our dedication to making a positive impact on the world drives us to continuously seek new ways to improve our practices and contribute to a sustainable future. In line with this commitment, we are excited to announce our membership in the United Nations Global Compact and United Nations Global Compact Network UK.

Joining the United Nations Global Compact signifies our determination to uphold the highest standards in doing the right thing for the people, the planet and our principles. As part of this network, we now have access to a robust framework that will guide us in tracking our progress and reporting our achievements annually to the UN Global Compact.

In 2022, we launched Sustainability. by Kent, our sustainability strategy crafted to create meaningful change based on actions rather than talk. Based on three main pillars, Sustainability. by Kent deep-dives into our business operations to understand and work on the areas where we can make the biggest impact and change for the better. By empowering people to prosper, supporting a thriving planet, and living every day with purpose and principles, we are directly contributing to more than half of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

Emma Scott, VP of Sustainability at Kent, says:

“We are proud to join the UN Global Compact and be part of a global movement dedicated to making a positive difference. We are committed to continuing our sustainability journey and using this membership as an opportunity to learn, collaborate and drive meaningful change for the benefit of our people and our planet.”
