In celebration of International Women in Engineering Day, we were thrilled to have the chance to engage in insightful conversations with some of our talented women engineers at Kent.

Amna Al Ali, our Energy Transition and Sustainability Engineer, joined a conversation with Oil & Gas Middle East, sharing her experience as an engineer and her passion for driving sustainable progress.

What made you choose a career in engineering?

I have always been interested in STEM ever since I was in high school, in addition to my interest in problem solving and figuring out how things work.

I chose to pursue a career in engineering because I want to make a meaningful impact on the world, while doing something I am passionate about, especially in the area of sustainability as it is the hot topic nowadays and the whole world is focusing on creating sustainable solutions and technologies.
