Investing in our people

Our key to a sustainable business

Adding value to some of the world’s largest projects means we’re often welcoming 100’s of new people into our team every month. But we don’t want anyone to get lost in the crowd. We’re committed to becoming a learning organisation. That means ensuring that every single person uses their time with us to gain valuable experience and skills for their future, through our training and upskilling programmes.

Our investment in our people is key to building a sustainable business, helping us retain a talented workforce, motivate them, deliver great results to our clients, drive forward the energy transition and attract more talented people.

Nurturing brilliant minds

We’re attracting, educating and developing a smart, brave, agile workforce so that the brightest minds can create a better today and an even brighter tomorrow. That's why we've put in place training and upskilling programmes to help our people boost their potential.

Some examples of key training programmes include:

  • Ready to Accelerate; our fast-track programme, is intended to identify and support high-potential employees within Kent, and provide them with the skills, experiences, and opportunities they need to advance their careers.
  • Kent Graduate Programme is our three-year, world-class development programme for early careers. It is designed to give our graduates the hands-on experience, knowledge and skills they'll need to start their careers.
  • Transition READY programme, which supports skills migration to deliver the energy transition.
