Executive Leadership Team
John has more than 25 years’ industry experience in locations all over the globe, primarily in planning, EPC and strategic and management roles at project and corporate level. John joined the company in 2001 and has been an executive member of the board of directors since 2005 where he has been instrumental in the growth of the company.
Tush is our COO, bringing more than 25 years experience in the global oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals and power generation industries. Tush was previously the COO and then President (Projects) of Kentz/SNC Lavalin, where he was part of the team that tripled the business unit revenue and margin as well as expanding the footprint into the US and South East Asia.
Ben is a chartered accountant and leads the group’s financial operations. Before joining Kent in 2017, Ben was CFO at the Al Gosaibi Group in Saudi Arabia, leading the business through a multi-billion dollar debt restructure, and spent eleven years with Deloitte.
Simon is our CBDO, and is tasked with delivering a consistent backlog to the business, allowing for sustainable growth in our chosen markets. He has led the charge in business development, most recently within SNC-Lavalin’s Resources Division, as well as being part of the transition phases during his time with Amec and Petrofac.
Danie is our Chief People Officer and is ultimately responsible for enhancing our people services across the globe. Having joined Kent in 2008, Danie has played a pivotal role in shaping the heart of our organisation through his journey across various operational and leadership roles globally.
Damian heads up Kent's Information and Digital technologies. He is a highly experienced leader with a track record in technology management and consulting spanning 25 years having built and led high performing international technology departments across sectors including Energy, Healthcare, Retail, Defence and Media.
Andrew joined Kent in August 2021 and is our General Counsel. He is responsible for ethics and governance and works with our teams across the world to manage risk for the collective benefit of the group, our people and our clients.
Jo first joined Kent in 2010 and heads up our Communications & Advocacy. With a 20 year career in communications across construction, design and energy sectors, she brings a creative flair and a passion for storytelling to bring the Kent brand to life.
Emma is our Vice President of Sustainability, leading us through a real sustainability journey that truly creates genuine, meaningful, positive change. Emma has 15 years of experience in sustainability roles in the energy industry, with a real passion for environmental protection and has an MSc in Environmental Management.
Simon leads our global Engineering and Consultancy business delivering cost effective and technically excellent solutions to our clients across the energy industry spectrum.
Iain leads Operations within our East region and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. He brings over 25 years knowledge and experience within the industry, having previously worked with Kentz and AMEC.
Tom leads Operations within our West region and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. He brings over 25 years knowledge and experience within the industry, having previously worked with KBR and SNC-Lavalin.
Mick is our business development EVP covering Americas & APAC. He has 25 years history with Kent companies, previously with SNC-Lavalin and Kentz prior to that. He has wide ranging industry knowledge and a mature, global network spanning the Energy industry.
Wayne leads our global HSSE function and brings 20 years of experience through previous roles with AMEC and Centrica Energy.
Marcello leads M&A at Kent. His expertise in investments and acquisitions also means he will be optimising our strategies, and maximising returns on investment.
Board of Directors
Malcolm was appointed Chair in 2017, having joined the Board in 2015. He also serves as a Non-Executive director of IPSX UK Limited and Chair of a technology start-up, Pillar-App Limited. He has extensive Board experience of both public and private equity backed companies, holding both executive and non-executive roles. His career has included working in a range of sectors including IT, telecommunications and manufacturing.

Lynn is a seasoned human resources executive with more than 40 years of global multi-industry experience. She most recently served as Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer at Johnson Controls but prior to this held human resources leadership positions at BAE Systems, Air Products & Chemicals and IBM Corporation. Lynn holds a bachelor's degree from Cornell University. She has served on the Board of Directors of Ibstock Plc and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Enerpac Tool Group.
David is an Non-Executive Director of the Kent Board, bringing a wealth of industry knowledge and experience from his previous 20 years in bp. During his time with bp he held various high-level roles, most recently as Head of Global Projects.
Carlos brings more than 30 years of international experience in project finance, engineering and the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects across the energy, transport and industrial sectors. Carlos has held senior leadership roles with Texas Central, CH2M (now Jacobs), BrightSource Energy and Bechtel, where he led the financing and execution of major developments worldwide. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Inspire Dallas LLC and also serves on the boards of Vinci SA and Nesma & Partners, bringing strong governance, financial and strategic expertise to the Kent Board.
Gary is a seasoned professional bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in Energy Transition to the Kent board. As the current owner of Exhale Energy, a flourishing energy transition consultancy, and the former Founder and CEO of Breathe Energy (before it was successfully sold to EDF), Gary specialises in aiding investors in establishing and operating high-growth energy transition businesses.
Driek brings extensive expertise in IT, digital and data analytics to the Kent board. He was previously a senior partner at McKinsey, where he worked on technology transformation and digital business building across sectors, from financial services to industrial and retail consumer. He also headed McKinsey’s Asian Business Technology Office and Digital Labs.
