Houston, Texas, USA: Kent has been awarded the detailed design Engineering for Phase II and III for the Light Naphtha Disposition (LND) project at the TotalEnergies’ Port Arthur Refinery in Texas, USA.
This is following the successful completion of the front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for Phase II and III, as well as the detail design contract for phase I of the LND project.
“This award is the culmination of continued successful performance by our teams on the execution and delivery of our FEED and detail design packages during the earlier phase of this project”, said Tom Bullard, Kent Senior Vice President, Operations, Americas. “Driven by innovation, we look forward to further strengthening our relationship with TotalEnergies on this cutting-edge refining and petrochemicals facility and growing Kent’s footprint across the U.S. Gulf Coast.”
The TotalEnergies Port Arthur Refinery is one of the Company’s six refining and petrochemicals platforms worldwide, and its largest facility in the U.S. The refinery has the capacity to process 238,000 barrels per day, in addition to a dedicated unit to produce low-sulfur fuels, which supports the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
