A safety milestone built on 19 years of injury-free work at the Baytown Complex

Baytown safety milestone september 2024

Our Baytown Operations Team in Texas is celebrating a remarkable milestone—7,000 safe days and counting. This achievement stands as a testament to the strong safety culture and shared responsibility that every team member embraces daily. With over 19 years, an equivalent of 11.5 million hours worked without an OSHA recordable injury, the Baytown team’s dedication to safety ensures that everyone goes home safely at the end of each day.

Located within ExxonMobil’s sprawling Baytown Complex, which covers 3,400 acres just east of downtown Houston, the Kent team provides a wide range of EPCm services. These include project management, engineering and design, procurement, document management, and construction management, among others. Having been on-site since 1966, our team has a deep-rooted history and commitment to supporting ExxonMobil’s critical operations in the Refinery, Chemical Plant, and Olefins Plant.

Through dedication, focus, and an unwavering commitment to safety, the Baytown team is prepared to continue building on this legacy for many more safe days to come.
