We’ve reached a significant milestone on Ampol’s Future Fuels Desulphurisation Project: 1 million work hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI). It’s a clear reflection of what strong planning, daily vigilance, and a culture of accountability can achieve.
Delivered in close collaboration with Ampol and delivery partners, this achievement comes alongside key progress on site, including the safe installation of all preassembled pipe racks and the arrival of critical columns 18C6 and 18C4.
This is a landmark project where Kent is providing comprehensive engineering services, from Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and management of Long Lead Items (LLIs) through to the full self-perform EPC execution services including commissioning.
And there’s a wider impact too. This work is helping pave the way for Australia’s compliance with Euro 6 fuel sulphur emissions standards, ensuring all fuels meet an ultra-low sulphur threshold by 2025.
At Kent, safety runs deep. It’s not just what we track; it’s how we think. Moments like this aren’t about luck, they’re the result of commitment, communication, and care at every level.
