As part of our new core beliefs, we talk about the importance of bringing our whole selves to work. We want to build a diverse and inclusive work environment where we all feel we belong and are recognised for our uniqueness. One where inclusiveness is a reflex, not an initiative. So to that end, we are pleased to announce that we have taken the first firm step in making practical, meaningful change on this topic. Karen Blanc has agreed to take on the development of our global Inclusion and Belonging strategy and implementation.
Working alongside her current operational role within E&C, Karen will work with the global leaders of the organisation to expand knowledge and take the practical steps we need to in order to create the type of environment that reflects the culture of Kent.
Karen commented "I’m motivated by seeing others thrive and bringing their full selves to work. I believe that, regardless of our identity or background, we’re all entitled to that opportunity. This role brings together my professional and personal passions, and I’m excited to meet and learn more about my colleagues around the world,as I put my experience into practice."
