Breaking Barriers: How we're celebrating International Women's Day at Kent

IWD2022

International Women's Day is a day to celebrate and honour the contributions of women around the world.

This year, we took the opportunity to reflect on our values and how we can better support and celebrate women in our workplace. One of our core values is infinite thinking, which means constantly questioning the status quo and being open to growth and change.

In light of this value, we have decided to share the book "The Fix: How to Overcome the Invisible Barriers That Are Holding Women Back at Work" by Michelle Penelope King with our team. Additionally, we hosted localised workshops to ensure that our thoughts, words and feelings are turned into tangible actions and change.

We understand that there is still a long way to go before we reach true equity and equality for all women in the workplace. But by expanding our thinking and taking action, we hope to make a positive impact.
