We are seeking a Senior Construction Planner/Scheduler to support a major LNG project from construction through to commissioning. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in planning and scheduling large-scale EPC projects with multi-discipline integration across mechanical, piping, structural steel, electrical, instrumentation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning scopes. This individual will play a key role in the development, monitoring, and analysis of detailed construction schedules, including maintenance of a Level 5 schedule and implementation of earned value measurement to track performance and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Level 1–5 construction schedules using Primavera P6, aligned with project execution strategies and contract milestones.
Maintain a Level 5 field execution schedule, broken down by system, area, and discipline to support daily/weekly planning and execution.
Integrate discipline-specific construction activities (mechanical, piping, structural, E&I) into a master schedule, including fabrication, module delivery, installation, and testing.
Support constructability reviews and sequencing with field engineering and construction teams.
Interface with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to incorporate critical path and resource-loaded activities.
Establish workface planning logic to ensure effective hand-offs between construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
Implement and manage earned value measurement systems to track physical progress against budget and schedule baselines.
Develop and maintain earned value metrics including CPI, SPI, and forecasting indicators.
Track progress against the baseline schedule; perform productivity analysis and variance analysis.
Analyze deviations and delays; propose and implement mitigation or recovery plans.
Support schedule risk analysis and participate in project controls meetings and contractor progress reviews.
Generate weekly and monthly schedule updates, look-aheads, variance reports, and presentations for project leadership and clients.
Provide support during audits and client interface meetings, ensuring schedule transparency and accuracy.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years of planning/scheduling experience in large-scale EPC or LNG projects.
Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and standard project controls tools and methodologies.
Strong understanding of multi-discipline construction processes and interdependencies.
Experience maintaining and managing Level 5 schedules in field construction environments.
Proven experience implementing and managing earned value management (EVM) systems.
Experience working with unit rate contracts, including integration of unit rate logic into the project schedule and progress measurement systems.
Experience in supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning schedules in an integrated environment.
Familiarity with AWP (Advanced Work Packaging) and WorkFace Planning.
Excellent communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience on major LNG, petrochemical, or oil & gas megaprojects.
Field-based scheduling experience on construction sites with high labor volumes and multiple subcontractors.
Knowledge of progress measurement systems and construction productivity tracking.
