The contractor also designs offshore platforms.* *“We take that full lifecycle in the sense that through our process and FEED engagement, we'll take it through a detailed design into a full-scale procurement operation, and then we'll take it into either a project management type of programme… or delivery of engineering, procurement and construction,” he says.* *Kent also integrates its commissioning, completion and start-up business into some EPC contracts.* *“What we would like to do is, beyond start-up of the asset is become the project owner's partner. And we can do that through an owner's engineering engagement, or we can do it through EPC delivery and management of that asset,” adds Tanley*."
