Kent is looking for a Treasury Manager to be based at Kent Mumbai, as part of our growing Shared Services team in India.
Skills and Responsibilities:
1.Treasury Operations & Payment Management
•Oversee daily operations related to centralized payment processing, funding, and intercompany transactions.
•Ensure timely execution of payment runs,, debt service activities and FX settlements if required.
2. Bank Administration & Documentation
•Manage end-to-end bank account opening/closure, signatory updates, and KYC documentation for group entities.
•Maintain an accurate global bank account register and ensure they are updated in the TMS.
•Act as the first point of contact for banking queries and documentation requests.
3. Process Standardization & Governance
•Implement standardized processes across the group in accordance with treasury policies and internal controls.
•Maintain treasury controls checklists, and audit trail documentation.
•Support internal and external audit requirements related to treasury operations.
4. Technology & TMS Administration
•Oversee the use and configuration of the Treasury Management System- Kyriba.
•Ensure system integrity for bank connectivity, payment formats, and reporting modules.
•Work with IT and external vendors for updates, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
•Work with the Bank’s integration team to connect new bank accounts with Kyriba
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration
•Lead, train, and develop a TSSC team to build treasury capabilities.
•Liaise with country finance teams, tax, accounting, and compliance functions to align on treasury deliverables.
•Escalate and resolve operational issues with banks and internal stakeholders.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Education & Certifications
•Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
•Masters or Treasury qualification is an added advantage.
Experience
•7–10 years of experience in corporate treasury, of which 2–3 years must be in a shared service or centralized treasury environment.
•Proven experience in international payment operations, bank documentation, and working with Kyriba
•Experience with multi-country treasury setups and cross-border banking.
Skills
•Strong knowledge of cash management, treasury controls, and payment regulations.
•Proficiency in Excel, TMS platforms, Power Bi. Good understanding on Oracle Fusion would be an advantage.
•Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills.
•Attention to detail, risk mindset, and process improvement orientation.
•Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multicultural organization.
Communication:
•Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
