The Opportunity:

Are you an experienced electrical professional with a passion for leading teams and ensuring the successful completion of electrical projects? We're looking for an Electrical Supervisor to oversee the work of electricians, manage projects from start to finish and ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely and to the highest standards.
In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for planning, scheduling and supervising electrical projects. From estimating time and materials to ensuring work complies with safety regulations, you’ll ensure projects run smoothly from inception to completion. You’ll guide and support electricians, provide on-the-job assistance and make sure all electrical work is carried out safely and according to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Plan, schedule, and estimate time and materials for electrical projects, managing all stages from start to finish.
• Team Leadership: Supervise electricians and electrical technicians, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, safely and on schedule.
• Safety Oversight: Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement necessary procedures to safeguard your team.
• Quality Assurance: Perform inspections to maintain the quality of electrical work, ensuring installations and repairs meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, including blueprints, schematics, maintenance logs and inspection reports.
• Budget & Cost Management: Manage budgets, monitor expenses, negotiate with suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, contractors and clients to ensure seamless project execution and communication.

About You:

You are an experienced electrical supervisor with a strong background in leading teams and managing projects. You possess excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills and are proactive in problem-solving. With a commitment to maintaining safety and high-quality work, you consistently meet deadlines.

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred, along with a QLD Electrical Licence. Previous electrical supervisor experience is highly beneficial and you have a strong knowledge of industry codes and safety regulations. Your ability to delegate tasks and foster a cooperative work environment makes you an ideal fit. An EHHA Certificate, refreshed within the last 5 years, is required.
