The programme covers technical training across three key departments—Petroleum Engineering, Drilling, and Contract & Procurement—to support the development of a skilled and confident workforce.

Scope:

Petroleum Engineering:

Reservoir Engineering Principles: Comprehensive training in reservoir dynamics, modelling, and management to enhance petroleum engineering expertise.

Production Optimisation Techniques: Modules focused on maximising oil and gas production efficiency, addressing challenges and bottlenecks.

Geology and Petrophysics: Training in geophysics and geology tools, alongside an understanding of reservoir rock properties and fluid distribution, enabling better reservoir characterisation and modelling in the field.

Drilling Department:

Drilling Operations Fundamentals: In-depth modules on well planning, drilling techniques, and rig operations to ensure day-to-day proficiency.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Practices: Comprehensive sessions on safety protocols, hazard identification, risk management, and emergency response to promote a secure working environment.

Contract and Procurement:

Procurement Best Practices: Instruction in effective planning, procurement strategies, vendor management, market research, tendering, contract drafting, and negotiation.

Contract Compliance and Risk Management: Training to ensure adherence to contractual obligations while equipping personnel with tools to mitigate risks within procurement processes.
