The Opportunity:

Kent has a local and exciting position for an experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our Perth Projects Team!

In this broad role, you will be involved in brownfield project delivery including technical support, project coordination, hands on implementation as well as interfacing, working as part of a team responsible for keeping all applicable communications and electronic systems working effectively and efficiently.

This is a full time, permanent position! based in Perth on a standard 5-day, 38 hour week with limited site travel for scope determination and project installation.

Qualification/ Certifications:

  • Cert IV in Communications, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
  • Registered ACMA Cabling license

We would love to see this experience…

  • Maintenance experience in supporting at least two of the below systems would be advantageous:
    • Radio UHF (Tetra), VHF, Microwave
    • Radar, AIS, Satellite
    • CCTV
    • Access Control
    • PAGA
  • Ability to prioritise emerging scopes and provide detailed feedback to clients
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Minimum 5 years maintenance experience on diverse RF and Electronic Systems
