The Opportunity
The Site Project Controller will manage project cost estimation, tracking, and analysis, working closely with project leaders to gather data, manage manhour reporting, invoicing, and prepare cashflows. Key responsibilities include daily reporting, maintaining documentation, supporting cost reporting, mapping POs to actuals, and managing blue-collar cost allocation and forecasting. The role also involves process improvements, monitoring procurement, liaising with HR on staff rates, and handling payments to subcontractors. Additionally, it includes learning contract fundamentals and performing various project-related tasks as needed.
About you:
We’re looking for a candidate with a tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience, strong organisational skills, and expertise in managing deadlines and change. The role requires a process-driven approach with solid financial acumen, collaboration skills, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Experience in the Oil & Gas sector is an advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with strong interpersonal, analytical, managerial, and negotiation abilities to drive project success with internal and external stakeholders.
