About the job:
KENT is hiring Senior Quality Engineer (Procurement).
Your responsibilities:
1. The Senior Quality engineer (Procurement) is supporting the Quality Lead /Manager for the development of the Quality Program and responsible for the independent surveillance and audit of the project for compliance with PROCUREMENT procedures and requirements, as well as the documentation of compliance and corrective actions.
2. The Senior Quality Engineer works closely with Quality Lead and advises him of the status of quality-related activities.
3. The Senior Quality Engineer assists the Quality Lead in the maintenance and updating of the CONTRACT or Project Quality Plan and other quality related project documents.
4. As directed by the Quality Lead, the Senior Quality Engineer will perform other quality-related audits and surveys.
5. Responsible for Quality Management System compliance and system improvement activities
6. Responsible for Contract and Project quality plan implementation
7. Accountable for the overall implementation of MRF process for projects, where applicable.
8. Establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
9. Development of project specific Project Quality Plans for the new projects in the QPH Support Quality lead for Interface with Engineering and Procurement team to ensure specific quality requirements are incorporated in all relevant documents, approved, and transferred to manufacturers and implementation contractor.
10. Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
11. Support Quality Lead for the overall performance of the audit program, and oversight on quality engineers responsible for the audit program.
12. Supporting Quality Lead to Analyse failure, and responsible for implementation of corrective and preventive actions and to respond to company .
13. Manage quality, business, and engineering documentation, for the CONTRACTOR organization
14. Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the overall activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions.
15. Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
16. Support Quality Lead to Manage and report suppliers'/contractor performance and make recommendations for improvements through the entire supply chain process
17. Support Quality Lead to Develop processes and procedures that enhance or assure quality, align with the business strategy, and project objectives
18. Support implementation of DCAF for recognised disciplines and support TA assignment of CONTRACTOR discipline staff
19. Responsible for departmental and project specific risk management through implementation of mitigation plans.
20. Support implementation 'fit for purpose' PCAP development on individual projects.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Qualification/ Certification:
Bachelor, University in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, welding, material, process etc.)
Minimum 12 years' experience in Oil and Gas Industry
Flawless Project Delivery Experience
Experience with interfacing with other disciplines, i.e. electrical, process, rotating mechanical, civil, static mechanical and technical
