Scope of Work:

Kent is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to be based in Woking for 6 months duration initially.

Deliverables:

  • Provides Quality input and support to Project(s)
  • Authors and implements Project Quality Plan(s)
  • Keeps project within the framework of Kent’s Quality Management System
  • Proactively engages with Project Manager and Lead Engineers to ensure quality related start up and ongoing project requirements are implemented and maintained
  • Provide support, guidance and advice to project personnel on Quality procedures, processes and quality related matters
  • Assist with development of Project specific documentation
  • Conducts regular Project Quality and Supplier Quality Audits as required
  • Ensures Project Lessons Learned and improvements are identified and reported during project execution
  • Maintains and analyses Project Quality Assurance Data/ KPIs
  • Prepares reports as required
  • Occasional corporate related work directed by Staff UK Quality Manager

Key Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Business, Quality Management or related field
  • Extensive experience of Consultancy, FEED, Detailed Design and EPC projects in a senior or lead Quality role
  • Experience of projects executed for Clients from the Middle East
  • Broad understanding of Engineering discipline activities
  • Broad knowledge of international standards, codes and specifications
  • Strong analytical skills with proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues including root cause analysis
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. ISO9001 Lead Auditor) are desirable
