Kent is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to be based in Woking for a duration of 6 months initially.
Scope of Work:
The Senior Project Engineer works under the supervision of the Project Manager and/or Project Engineering Manager to ensure delivery of this project from Pre-FEED / Detail design stages (as appropriate to the Client scope).
Responsible for producing the following deliverables:
- Engineering coordination activities.
- Will be accountable to the PEM or Project Manager for all works performed.
- Achieve design consistency and delivery of all project documentation.
- Provides all necessary input and support to project progress and reporting.
- Corporate reporting line is to Departmental/Group Manager.
- Supports the Project Manager to ensures compatibility and conformance with Client specifications.
- Participates in and supports the Project Engineering manager to coordinate multi-discipline Engineering Design Reviews and assists in providing all necessary input and approval to close out of actions.
- Supports the Project Manager to coordinates engineering delivery between multiple Kent offices.
Key Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Engineering
- Chartered Status preferred.
- Related experience working for Engineering/Client organisations in the Oil and Gas Industry and/or Low Carbon Energy Transition industry
- Experience of FEED/Detailed Design and EPC projects
- Good Coordination skills
- Ability to meet schedules and deadlines
- Multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail
- Analytical and problem solving mind
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Knowledge of other engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of international equipment specifications and codes.
- Knowledge of standard international specifications and codes.
- Knowledge of Safety and Quality procedures.
- Global work share experience.
