About the Role:
The function of the Senior Document Controller is to support the DCM in the adherence to and implementation of the document management systems; supervision of all Document Control services within the project; implementation and continuous improvement of processes within Document Controls; and the selection and development of Document Controls resources.
Your Day to Day will include:
- Support the implementation of Kent standards, procedures, guidelines and industry “best practices” to ensure efficient control and consistency of deliverables. Participate in review through benchmarking and project close-out.
- Support the maintenance of the project information systems (Aconex & SDx) to ensure they are kept up to date and correct.
- Provide timely and accurate reports in relation to all document controls activities within the project.
- Liaising with all disciplines and teams on the project to ensure document controls systems are adequate for requirements.
- Carry out the document control function effectively and efficiently and contribute to the improvement and overall quality of document controls services on the Project.
- Support the implementation and usage of the Aconex document control system used on the project and adhere to appropriate standards, procedures, guidelines and industry “best practices” to ensure the consistent utilization of Aconex on all Projects.
- Support the document control team in the efficient and effective delivery of the document control services on the project.
- Provide training for new hires within the document control team and within the greater team.
About You:
The ideal candidate will bring over 8 years of hands-on experience in document control within industrial EPC projects, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering efficient document management services across multi-disciplined teams. Strong expertise with Aconex is highly desirable, with additional knowledge of Hexagon SDx considered a plus. They will have practical experience in project closeouts and client handovers, supporting engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning functions.
