We are looking for an experienced Asset Information Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining asset information systems, ensuring data accuracy, and playing a key role in supporting the organization’s digital transformation initiatives and product development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage and maintain asset information systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Engage with clients, software vendors, and internal IT & Digital teams to align project objectives and requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments of project team to gather and analyze asset data, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Implement and oversee the use of SSL certificates to ensure the security and confidentiality of data transmitted over the internet.
- Lead the implementation and continuous optimization of digital tools to improve project efficiency and delivery timelines.
- Ensure seamless information flow between teams to guarantee consistent data sharing, drive efficiency, and minimize non-quality costs.
- Provide ongoing technical support and training to project teams to ensure proficient use of digital tools and platforms.
- Monitor and report on the performance of asset information systems, identifying areas for improvement.
- Regularly update the Digital Steering Committee on the progress and impact of digital tool integration and advancements.
- Develop and refine processes to ensure consistent, accurate data capture, contributing to the creation of a reliable digital twin.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the latest advancements in digital engineering tools and technologies to ensure cutting-edge practices.
- Work closely with partners and clients to exchange insights, while sharing our learnings within the industry to foster continual improvement in digital practices.
- Actively share key learnings and innovations with the Global KENT Digital and Innovation teams to enhance global digital strategies.
- Collaborate with relevant functions to ensure that corporate procedures and processes are regularly updated to reflect evolving digital execution standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in cybersecurity.
- Development and implementation of APIs and plugins to seamlessly integrate third-party solutions, enhancing system interoperability and driving operational efficiency.
- Implementation of Power BI to develop comprehensive asset reporting dashboards, providing real-time insights and facilitating data-driven decision-making across the organization.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, with a focus on a specific engineering and IT domain to ensure a strong understanding of the engineering data flow between disciplines
- Proven 10 years or more knowledge of engineering, design, procurement or construction within a relevant industry (e.g. Oil & Gas or Energy industries)
- Conversant with information exchange between operating functions and have at least 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPCI Project Digital Solutions delivery, focusing on systems, work processes, and digitalization
- Strong technical background in the oil and gas industry, Engineering & Digital with a comprehensive understanding of EPCI processes across all disciplines and functions
- Proven exposure to Aveva and Hexagon suite of applications is strongly desirable, along with a good understanding of analytics applications, application integration, data management, and analytical dashboards presentation
- Proven experience in implementation and handling of Class Library, BIM concept and its integration capabilities.
- Proven experience of implementation of APIs and plugins to seamlessly integrate third-party solutions.
- Experience with SSL certificates and data encryption technologies.
- Proficiency in PowerShell programming, with experience developing scripts and tools for automation.
- Proficiency in SQL programming, with experience developing tables, queries, views and stored procedures for data storing, analyses, and reporting.
- Proficiency in creating dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Good exposure of Data Extraction, modification, data management, application integration and presentation of Analytical Dashboards
- Strong understanding of data management principles, standards and practices.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis techniques and tools.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively (worldwide) to perform project tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Language: fluent English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience of SQL/ORACLE databases and query optimization techniques.
- Experience in programming using, SQL, python, PowerShell, VBA, C#
- Experience in handling the integration, customization, and management of APIs, custom plugins, and gateways.
- Experience with Data visualization tools and techniques.
