The Opportunity:

The Senior Consultant Process Engineer is a key role in the Consulting business and is responsible for both winning and delivering process consultancy scopes in the energy industry. You will be expected to use your extensive contacts and reputation in the WA market to achieve this aim.

As a senior member of the Process team, you will work closely and need to communicate effectively with the other disciplines, Kent management and client representatives to ensure the company’s reputation for high quality products and services is maintained.

All consultant engineer roles include responsibility for discipline input to estimates and proposals, and subsequent production of design deliverables within agreed budget and schedule constraints.

In this role, you will undertake the following duties:

• Proactively contribute to bids, proposals, client presentations and marketing activity.
• Assist with project scheduling and reporting.
• Carry out screening studies and develop BODs in support of potential engineering projects.
• Serve as the Focal Point for assigned projects, managing the contact with the client and ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders.
• Participate as Senior Consultant Process Engineer in multidiscipline studies for the early phases (Feasibility, Option Selection, Concept Studies) in Greenfield and Brownfield Developments.
• Carry out debottlenecking, optimization and other process studies for selected projects.
• Actively train and encourage the development of junior staff to fulfill process engineering roles.
• Provide detailed process engineering input during all design phases as required by the client, including interpretation of industry standards.
• Provide quality assurance of calculations, drawings and reports prepared by the team in accordance with the Kent Quality Management System.
• Review any design work carried out by third parties (vendors).
• Participate in HAZOPs, LOPAs and other hazard study workshops.
