About the job:

Kent is looking for a Civil Senior Designer, to support ongoing workshare projects.

Skills and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Plans, Drawings and Diagrams: Prepare plans, drawings and diagrams for each project, applying specific knowledge, standards and norms established for each document, in order to ensure that the requirements and needs raised by the client and the Projects are met within the deadlines defined in the Detailed Work Program and with the Quality and Compliance parameters stipulated in the Value Promise.
• Technical Support: Support the Engineers of the specialty in the preparation, review, complementation or expansion of the technical standards generally applied, in accordance with procedures established by the Company and requests from the Clients, to optimize and facilitate the development of the projects.
• Support in Audit Issues: Participate in the solution of findings of internal audits, periodic verifications and/or reports of non-conformity issued by the Quality Area, in accordance with the request of their Immediate Superior, to support the performance of activities that allow closing corrective and/or preventive actions for the timely development of improvement actions.
• In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. • Interpretation of architectural and structural plans of the civil area.
• Knowledge of 3D Civil Software desirable
• Knowledge of CADWorks Software desirable
• Desirable knowledge in SmartPlant
• Handling Autoplant Software
• Collection of information in the field.
• Preparation of models in AutoCAD 3D and OpenPlant
• Workshare projects experience.

Communication:

• Excellent command of the Spanish – English (desirable) language in both oral and written communication and skills.

Behavior/ Core Competencies:

• Extensive experience in the drawing of metal concrete structures, roads, drains, calculation of work quantities. Experience in handling software to generate contour lines, cross-sections, profiles and platforms

• Elaboración de Planos, Dibujos y Diagramas: Elaborar planos, dibujos y diagramas para cada proyecto, aplicando los conocimientos, normas y estándares específicos establecidos para cada documento, con el fin de asegurar que los requisitos y necesidades planteados por el cliente y los Proyectos se cumplan dentro de los plazos definidos en el Programa de Trabajo Detallado y con los parámetros de Calidad y Cumplimiento estipulados en la Promesa de Valor.
• Soporte Técnico: Apoyar a los Ingenieros de la especialidad en la elaboración, revisión, complementación o ampliación de las normas técnicas generalmente aplicadas, de acuerdo con los procedimientos establecidos por la Compañía y solicitudes de los Clientes, para optimizar y facilitar el desarrollo de los proyectos.
• Apoyo en Temas de Auditoría: Participar en la solución de hallazgos de auditorías internas, verificaciones periódicas y/o reportes de no conformidades emitidos por el Área de Calidad, de acuerdo con la solicitud de su Superior Inmediato, para apoyar la realización de actividades que permitan cerrar acciones correctivas y/o preventivas para el desarrollo oportuno de acciones de mejora.
• Además de las responsabilidades enumeradas en este documento, es posible que se requiera que el empleado realice otras tareas ad-hoc según sea necesario o lo indique el supervisor o la gerencia. Estas tareas estarán dentro del alcance razonable de las habilidades, capacidades y roles del empleado dentro de la organización. • Amplia experiencia en el dibujo de estructuras de concreto metálica, vías, drenajes, cálculo de cantidades de Obra. Experiencia en manejo de software para generar curvas de nivel, secciones transversales, perfiles y plataformas.
