Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for the design, installation and commissioning of three new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems at Saudi Aramco Oil Field Operations (SAOO) which includes 615 Remote Terminal Units (RTU) at 652 oil well sites, with necessary field instrumentation to capture wellhead information.

The new SCADA systems will optimise reservoir management maintaining five million barrels per day (MMPD) of Arabian Light Crude production. The project design is divided into three main work areas: Wells Distribution; Associated Gas Oil Separation Plants (GOSPs) and SCADA locations.

Included in the scope is:

  • Installation of 615 Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) at 652 oil well sites with the necessary field instrumentation to capture wellhead information and perform required interfaces.
  • Installation of a new SCADA system at Ain Dar GOSP-3 to control Ain Dar field oil wells.
  • Installation of a new SCADA system at Shedgum GOSP-4 to control Shedgum field oil wells.
  • Installation of a new SCADA system at Uthmaniyah GOSP-7 to control Uthmaniyah field oil wells.
  • Interface with existing SCADA control systems at Abqaiq GOSP-5 and GOSP-6.
