Key Responsibilities:

Front-End Engineering Design (FEED): Lead and oversee the FEED activities for rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and related systems for oil and gas projects.
Rotating Equipment Selection: Identify and select the most suitable rotating equipment based on project requirements, process specifications, and industry standards.
Technical Analysis: Conduct detailed technical analysis and calculations to ensure the safe and efficient operation of rotating equipment under various operating conditions.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all rotating equipment designs and FEED activities adhere to relevant industry codes, standards (e.g., API, ISO), and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with process engineers, piping engineers, instrumentation engineers, and other disciplines to integrate rotating equipment designs seamlessly into the overall project.
Cost Estimation and Optimization: Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for rotating equipment and propose optimization opportunities to enhance project efficiency.
Risk Assessment and Safety: Identify potential risks associated with rotating equipment design and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Vendor Management: Interface with equipment vendors and manufacturers to evaluate technical proposals, review specifications, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers involved in rotating equipment design and FEED activities.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, design documentation, and drawings to communicate the status and outcomes of rotating equipment FEED to project stakeholders and management
Candidates experience with clients like Saudi Aramco, Qatar Petroleum, Exxon Mobil, ADNOC will be preferred.

Qualification and Skill Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in rotating equipment design within the oil and gas industry.
Profound knowledge of rotating equipment design principles, industry standards (e.g., API) , and best practices.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools used for rotating equipment design and analysis.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead and deliver FEED work within established timelines and budgets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Commitment to safety and adherence to HSE regulations.
Professional engineering licensure or certification is preferred.
