The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PTW Coordinator to lead and oversee Permit to Work (PTW) processes. In this role, you will coordinate and conduct routine PTW audits, act as the focal point for all PTW-related activities and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. You will track and advise line management on overdue or expired permits, certificates and forms, maintaining all documentation in line with the document retention policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides training to ISCT and Tiers 1’s ensuring personnel are competent
  • Provides leadership and troubleshooting to ensure efficient execution of the Permit to Work process
  • Provide expertise during Commissioning (Static & Dynamic) and Start-Up of facilities
  • Monitor preparation, planning and execution of permit to work activities by EPC Contractors
  • Liaises and interfaces with Tier 1’s, PMT, Start-Up and Operations personnel
  • Identifies and resolves permit to work issues
  • Ensure through regular planned audits, that permit processes are being diligently and correctly followed by all
  • Field permit processes including lock outs, isolations and gas tests are being followed correctly
  • Permit holders are compliant with procedures imposed by the permits they hold

About You

You bring a degree, diploma, or extensive years of experience in Project Completions and Operations, with strong knowledge of PTW processes during Mechanical Completion, Commissioning and Operations. You understand safety standards, work authorisation and client expectations, and have proven technical skills and sound judgment. Proficient in MS Office, you’re a team player who thrives under pressure and is committed to improving work processes.
