The Opportunity:

Join our dynamic team as a Telecoms Project Supervisor, where you'll lead skilled technicians in the installation, maintenance, and operation of cutting-edge telecommunications systems. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure the seamless operation of critical communication systems within oil and gas facilities, while championing safety and industry excellence.

You’ll provide advanced technical expertise, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive system upgrades to enhance performance and efficiency. As a project leader, you’ll collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality telecom solutions on time and within scope. From planning and execution to compliance and safety enforcement, your leadership will be key to maintaining operational reliability and technological innovation.




Day to Day, your role will include:

  • Lead and manage a team of telecom technicians in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications systems, including VoIP, fiber optics, radio communication, and satellite systems
  • Assign tasks, create work schedules, and provide technical support to team members to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks
  • Oversee the routine maintenance and troubleshooting of telecom systems to ensure operational reliability and minimise downtime
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to network connectivity, hardware failures, signal interference, and system malfunctions
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute telecommunication projects, ensuring that technical requirements are met, project timelines are adhered to, and resources are allocated effectively
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of telecom projects
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to supervisors, identifying potential delays and proposing solutions to keep projects on track
  • Conduct regular inspections of telecom systems to ensure compliance with technical and quality standards
  • Lead system upgrade projects, including replacing outdated equipment, expanding network coverage, and integrating new technologies into existing telecom infrastructure
  • Manage the inventory of telecom materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring that necessary resources are available for ongoing and upcoming projects

About you:

Our future colleague will have at least 5 years of experience and a demonstrated skillset with tender/RFQ Process within an EPC/CM Projects Supply Chain environment. They will have attention to detail and be comfortable with fast pace and confident in working and reporting with client representatives
