About the job:
Kent is looking for a Program Manager for our Commissioning, Completions and Start-Up division to be based in Houston, TX. The Program Manager will oversee functional and strategic initiatives, leading project teams to ensure successful project delivery and building strategic value-adding services. This role involves managing strategic initiatives, supporting business development, and directly engaging with clients to meet their needs. The Program Manager drives continuous improvement, optimizes processes, and fosters strong relationships with stakeholders, creating added value across the CCS program while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
  • Oversee and support a team of Project Managers, providing guidance and direction to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Strategic planning of Commissioning, Completions & Startup projects in the proposal and initial execution phase of the project.
  • Establish clear program objectives, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring that all projects within the program contribute to the overall success of the Commissioning, Completions & Startup function.
  • Identify and implement strategic initiatives within the program to drive innovation, efficiency, and value creation.
  • Act as the escalation point of contact for key stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and executive leadership, to ensure clear communication and alignment on program goals and progress.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with project managers and stakeholders to review project status, address challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive value creation within the program by identifying areas for process optimization, cost reduction, and enhanced service delivery.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:
  • Proven experience in management of Commissioning, Completion & Startup Projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop project support and management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement and value creation within complex programs.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management skills.
  • Travel – 10 % of the time to customer offices, site facilities and project sites.
