Execute project engineering responsibilities on multiple small capital brownfield projects simultaneously. Oversee technical engineering activities on multiple small capital/maintenance brownfield projects, simultaneously, for clients within their petrochemical plants. Ensure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion. Coordinate the various engineering disciplines and technical scheduling activities/aspects of projects to identify and resolve issues. Propose, review, or approve modifications to project plans to meet clients expectations. Reviewing performance of project team members to provide performance feedback to the department managers. Monitor costs incurred by project staff to identify budget issues. Prepare budget estimates with the engineering team and submit to the client. Prepare progress reports, or cost tracking reports and submit to the client. Report project status, such as budget, schedule and technical issues to client and program management. Review project updates to ensure deadlines are met. Submit final project deliverables to clients, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Telecommuting permitted up to 30%.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management or a related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.

Must have 5 years of engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

Must have 2 years of experience in the following:

  • Project engineering in the Oil & Gas Industry;
  • Brownfield small capital projects engineering; and
  • Petrochemical plant small capital projects engineering.


Must also have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Domestic travel required up to 10%
