About the job:
Kent is looking for a Commissioning Preservation Coordinator for a rotational position in North Slope, AK.
Skills and Responsibilities: | |
- Leads a team of Preservation Technicians, providing guidance, support, and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Preservation Planning: Develop comprehensive preservation plans in collaboration with Preservation Lead, identifying key preservation requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
- Asset Identification: Work closely with Preservation Lead to identify critical assets requiring preservation, including equipment, materials, documentation, and facilities.
- Preservation Procedures: Review and implement preservation procedures and protocols to ensure the integrity and longevity of preserved assets.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with preservation plans and procedures, addressing any issues or discrepancies as they arise. Interface with local Solar field rep. to ensure all Compressor and auxiliary equipment preservation activities are current. Perform field verification of recurring preservation activities.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor the performance of all preservation activities, evaluating their effectiveness in meeting preservation goals and objectives. Monitor and oversee implementation and execution of preservation activities.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and sign accurate records of preservation activities, including documentation of asset condition, preservation measures taken, and any deviations from established procedures. Prepare regular progress reports. Utilizes Omega Pims™ to record preservation tasks for all tagged materials and equipment utilizing vendor supplied preservation requirements. Issue preservation status report on a weekly basis.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement in preservation practices, implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the Preservation Lead or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development. | |
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: | |
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification: - 10+ years of experience supporting Oil & Gas projects in commissioning, construction and/or engineering capacity.
- 5+ years of experience in preservation management, preferably in the commissioning, completion, or start-up phases of large-scale industrial projects.
- On-site experience interfacing with client/contractor representatives.
- Site Safety leadership experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals.
- In-depth knowledge of preservation principles, techniques, and best practices, with a focus on asset integrity and longevity.
- Proficiency in preservation management software and tools preferred.
