About the job:
Kent is looking for a Planner – Shutdown/Production to develop and update deliverables for the project team.
Skills and Responsibilities: | |
Responsibilities: - Ensure that planned maintenance, inspections, and project activities are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget during plant shutdowns.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed shutdown/turnaround schedules using Primavera P6, aligned with LNG plant operational requirements.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and HSE to define work scope and ensure complete and safe execution.
- Break down scope into job packages with clear work instructions, material requirements, manpower, tools, and equipment.
- Manage long-lead procurement and contractor onboarding to ensure readiness before shutdown.
- Monitor shutdown execution, updating schedules and resolving delays in real-time.
- Conduct risk assessments and integrate mitigation plans into the schedule.
- Ensure compliance with LNG plant-specific safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead post-shutdown analysis, capturing lessons learned for future improvement.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: | |
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification: - Diploma holder or higher qualification required. Degree holder preferred.
- 7+ years Planning/Scheduling experience within Oil and Gas Industry and Commissioning project experience is required.
- Experience with critical path method analysis/technique with Primavera.
- Proficient with Primavera P6, Excel and preferably/Power BI.
- Proficient computer skills, SharePoint, Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word.
