The Opportunity:
We are looking for a PIPING (Stress)- Engineer with 6-10 years of work experience, who should have been a Stress Specialist in reputed Engineering Consultancy companies for some years, mostly in the Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemicals sector. You should be effective with verbal and written communication skills.
In this role, you will undertake the following duties:
Perform the following tasks independently / with minimum guidance:
• Stress Analysis of Metallic and Non-metallic piping connected to various static and rotating equipment’s.
• Design and selection of pipe support, spring, rigid strut, expansion joint, sway braces etc.
• Shall have experience in performing dynamic analysis like seismic, surge, slug, wind etc.
• Guiding Junior Engineers.
Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
6-10 years of work experience, who should have been a Stress Specialist in reputed Engineering Consultancy companies for some years, mostly in the Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemicals sector. You should be effective with verbal and written communication skills.
Software Tools:
• Computer Applications: Windows operating systems.
• Design Software- CAESAR-II is a must. Knowledge of CAEPIPE & AUTOPIPE would be an added advantage
Qualification/ Certification:
Masters/Bachelor of Engineering OR Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering from Indian University (UGC Approved) or from International University
Communication:
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Identify/report technical concerns and solutions in a clear and concise manner
• Attend project and team meetings
Skills Requirement:
Be able to work with the following under supervision:
• Should have sound knowledge in this line & flair for ‘out of bracket’ thinking.
• Capable of working as Lead Stress Engineer for sizeable jobs.
• Working as per the quality and safety requirement standards.
• Adopting a flexible and open approach towards the needs of projects.
