About the job: Piping Foreman for long-term revalidation project of existing LNG Facilities in Port Arthur, TX. Ideal candidate has experience with turnaround, shutdown and CapEx work on Brownfield projects.
Your Responsibilities:- Schedule and coordinate the work of a team of pipefitters, and welders
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout, sequence of operations, and material.
- Responsible for field installation activities in a specifically assigned area.
- Assist the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent by providing input to identify key success factors, timing of procurement deliverables, and establishing common work duty/responsibility structures.
- Provide leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services.
- Responsible for the execution of Piping services, quality, subcontractor performance, and construction cost.
- Evaluate Piping service execution for compliance to contract, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality, advising the project team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors on "to go" scope.
- Take ownership of the Piping craft schedule and develop short term look ahead schedules for the Foreman in alignment with the execution plan.
- Review and monitor cost and man-hour budget for installation process and develop a staff, facilities, equipment, and tool requirement plan.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: Qualifications/Certification:- Minimum five years of experience at LNG, Chemical Plant, Refinery, Pulp/Paper Mill, Power Generation Facility, or Heavy Industrial Processing Facility, classified as Piping General Foreman and performing essential Piping Foreman job functions.
