  • Coordinate and communicate with the Commissioning Manager for execution plans, priorities, and progress updates.
  • Support discipline leads by providing technical oversight and ensuring safe and efficient commissioning execution.
  • Collaborate with piping engineers, QA/QC, HSE, and client representatives to resolve punch list items and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Attend mechanical completion walkdowns and generate punch points, ensuring no Category A or B items remain open before handover.
  • Review and verify piping test packages, hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, and flushing/blowing procedures for compliance.
  • Confirm valve positions and ensure correct installation of blinds, spades, spectacle blinds, and pressure relief devices prior to system testing.
  • Perform and document system line walks, final inspections, and readiness for service evaluations.
  • Monitor work permits and ensure safe implementation of testing and pre-commissioning work scopes.
  • Identify and resolve constraints impacting pre-commissioning progress.
  • Manage redlining of P&IDs and isometric drawings, incorporating any design changes encountered during commissioning phases.
  • Conduct tightness, flushing, cleaning, and integrity tests for piping systems, including hydro/pneumatic tests, nitrogen purging, and leak tests (air, helium).
  • Prepare or review system limit drawings and commissioning boundary documents to define clear demarcations.
  • Provide input for as-built documentation and system handover dossiers.
  • Plan and track daily commissioning activities to align with project milestones.
  • Ensure isolation, depressurization, and purging protocols are strictly followed for safety.
  • Contribute to preparation of pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and system completion tracking using commissioning software (e.g., WinPCS, ICAPS, CMS).
  • Execute early punch listing and support minimal rework by participating in early-phase inspections.
  • Ensure proper installation of final piping components including supports, gaskets, and bolting per approved drawings and torque requirements.
  • In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization.
