About the job:
Kent is recruiting an Oracle Fusion HCM Solution Architect & Project Manager on a permanent basis, based out of Dubai, UAE. With 12+ years experience and Extensive Oracle HCM experience, including working knowledge of Oracle Financials, SCM and PPM.
As a key member of the Enterprise Systems Delivery team, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of Oracle Fusion HCM modules across Kent’s global operations. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Systems and Delivery, your focus will be on business engagement, solution design, and strategic delivery of HCM capabilities aligned with Kent’s People & Culture goals.
You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across HR, Recruitment, Payroll, Talent, and IT to shape solutions that modernise our people systems, improve employee experience, and support digital transformation initiatives.
While configuration and BAU support are handled by the support team, you will own solution design workshops, roadmap delivery, and functional rollouts.
Experience in Oil & Gas, Engineering, or Construction sectors is highly desirable, though candidates with a strong Oracle Financials delivery background from other industries are welcome to apply.
Skills and Responsibilities:
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:
- 12+ years of experience delivering Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, including solution architecture, implementation, and business transformation
- At least 8 years in Oracle Fusion HCM, with full lifecycle delivery of at least two end-to-end projects
In depth knowledge of key HCM modules:
- Core HR, Self Service, Absence Management, Time & Labor (OTL), Compensation, Recruitment, Talent Management, HR Helpdesk, Payroll
- Experience leading business engagement, functional design, and solution validation in a Solution Architect capacity
- Demonstrated ability to influence business stakeholders and collaborate across HR, IT, and Payroll teams
- Degree in Engineering, HR, IT, or a related field from a recognized institution
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Business Advisory
- Lead solution design for Oracle Fusion HCM modules aligned with Kent’s HR operating model and future-state strategy
- Conduct requirements workshops, document business needs, and translate them into Oracle configurations
- Assess current HR processes and identify areas for simplification and improvement
- Advise HR leadership on best-practice solution options and influence the HR technology roadmap
Project Delivery & Rollout Leadership
- Manage delivery of new HCM modules and enhancements, including planning, testing, deployment, and post-go-live
- Oversee third-party consultants and implementation vendors, ensuring timely and quality delivery
- Support quarterly Oracle Cloud release testing and assess impacts on HCM processes
- Work closely with the BAU team for smooth transition and adoption support
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement
- Collaborate with People & Culture leadership and function heads to ensure solution alignment and buy-in
- Lead functional training sessions and knowledge transfer to users and support teams
- Support dashboard/reporting needs for HR analytics, compliance, and KPIs
- Represent HCM systems in relevant governance and change forums
Other Responsibilities
- Support HCM data migration and validation
- Promote HRIS best practices and solution standardization across regions/entities
- Perform additional duties as required in line with Kent’s strategic and operational needs
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or related discipline
- Certifications in Oracle HCM Cloud modules and project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are advantageous
Communication:
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Able to communicate complex solution concepts clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Skilled in preparing and delivering impactful presentations to senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
