About the job:
Kent is looking for an Operations Project Administrator to be based in Houston, TX.

The Commissioning, Completion, and Start-up (CCSU) Operations team is hiring a Project Administrator to provide administrative support and data management to the operations and project team.
Skills and Responsibilities:
Administrative Project and Field Support:
  • Perform accurate data entry related to project development, documentation, operational support documents, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Monitor and maintain CCSU office supplies and inventory, ensuring timely replenishment and proper record-keeping.
  • Interacted with customers and coworkers professionally by phone, email, or in-person to maintain and create a positive working environment.
  • Provide ad hoc temporary administrative support to project teams as needed to meet critical deadlines and achieve project milestones.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of site activities, including daily HSE reports, Field timesheets, and work orders.
  • Assist in managing communication between site personnel and the office to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and support seamless operations.
  • Coordinate, manage and track onboarding, training, expenses, timekeeping, and other needs from CCS office and support staff.
  • Assist in organizing and arranging events to engage office and project staff to promote a team mindset.

Business Development and Social Media Support:
  • Support business development efforts by maintaining communication timelines to meet deadlines set by existing and potential customers.
  • Assistant in creating and organizing presentations for the CCS group.
  • Assist in creating and posting content on social media platforms related to project milestones, company updates, and community engagement.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement and respond to inquiries as needed.


In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:
  • Associates degree or 3 – 5 years equivalent required.
  • Experience working for a company that provides field service, manufacturing, or project management services is preferred.
  • Additional coursework or certification in administration, project management, or a related field is advantageous.

Communication:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Behavior/ Core Competencies:
  • Ability to perform responsibilities efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Cooperative and willing to assist others and work in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Willing to visit sites as need.
