Kent’s Environment Team welcomes expressions of interest from experienced environmental professionals working on a freelance/contracting basis in the UK to support the team’s growth and workload. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact and support the sustainable energy transition.
We welcome interest from UK-based environmentalists with a range of onshore skills/experience in the energy sector to help us deliver projects at various stages; from concept through and feasibility, FEED and consenting, through to commissioning and construction. We are particularly interested in hearing from professionals with skills and experience in:
• Offshore / onshore wind, oil and gas, overhead lines and low carbon (including carbon capture, energy-from-waste and sustainable aviation fuel);
• EIA co-ordination for TCPA / DCO schemes;
• UK-wide project experience;
• Environmental engineering, including delivering ENVIDs and BAT studies;
• Providing inputs across the project lifecycle.
Please note that at this stage, we are only looking for environmentalists working on a freelance / contract basis on both an inside and outside IR35 basis. If you are interested in staff roles, please continue to check our recruitment vacancies as we aim to continue to grow our core team in the near future.
