Engineering a sustainable future - with purpose and principles

Kent’s data-driven approach to sustainability has been underscored by a commitment to do the right thing for people, planet, and principles. We face the hard truths with confidence and optimism, harnessing the collective energy of our people to take real, measurable action in the world.

In her appearance on the Responsible Edge Podcast, Vice President of Sustainability Emma Scott detailed how she implemented this approach, by gathering data across dozens of countries to establish Kent’s first global emissions baseline.

From there, action followed. Diesel generators were replaced with solar systems at high-impact sites, and every tonne of carbon began to be tracked, measured, and reduced.

By embedding sustainability into everything we do, we’re building an organisation ready for the future – one ready to bring our world the energy it needs in the most responsible way ever imagined.
