Responsibilities:

• Preparation, scribing, and working closely with facilitators in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) such as HAZID, HAZOP, SILA, LOPA, and Bow Ties.
• Consequence analysis through the Modeling and Simulation of Fire and Explosion scenarios using industry standard software.
  Produce high quality technical deliverables including calculations, analyses, technical reports.
  Familiarize and become adept at using in-house tools for Facility Siting Studies and Quantitative Risk Assessments.
• Support Senior and Principal Process Safety Consultants in project work and ongoing client consultancy activities such as project management, results presentation, and Business Development.
• Working closely with other members in the team as well as other disciplines within Kent and represent Safety in various multi-disciplinary scopes.
• Develop your technical skills and competence in risk identification, risk assessment, and risk management methodologies.

In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred).

Communication:

• Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.

• Familiarity with high-hazard industries and process safety definitions and processes.
• Ability to read and understand process drawings including P&IDs and PFDs
• Interest in tool development and process optimization through programming applications (e.g., VBA, Python, Matlab).
