About the job: The successful candidate will prepare design drawings and assist with the modification / revamps of existing petrochemical, refining and light industrial facilities.
Your responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the successful candidate will be as follows:
Organizing work to meet priorities.
Review drawings and designs to control quality and accuracy.
Discussing special problems with project team and recommending changes as required.
Keeping up to date on new design processes and drafting techniques.
Developing and recommending improvements in design standards to lower costs, improve work quality and facilitate maintenance.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Technical college graduation (ie Mechanical Engineering Technician/ Technologist) or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years piping design experience, preferably in the petrochemical industry.
