About the Role Kent is currently seeking experienced Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Field Engineer to join our Brisbane Project Team working on the Ampol Future Fuels Project at Lytton. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working on a cutting-edge project in the energy industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing Construction Work Packs and Construction Scopes of Work as well as assisting construction activities onsite. You will develop project-specific procedures based on the Kent Integrated Management System and establish Work Packaging Documentation for construction activities for both Brown Fields and Green Fields work scopes. You will provide design solutions on site. You will work within the site engineering team for the Principal Project Engineer. Your Responsibilities - Prepare and issue E&I Work Packs and Scopes of Work for construction activities onsite within required timeframes to support construction schedule
- Ensure that Work Packs are presented to workers in such a way that they are supported in understanding the works to be undertaken
- Ensure construction activities are in compliance with project design, KENT policies, standards, procedures, and commitments
- Work with construction team to identify work that can be grouped and executed in parallel to optimise the schedule and efficiency of construction activities
- Provide design solutions on site
- Complete field markups of drawings and technical documentation
- Compilation and preparation of latest as built redline drawings for walkdowns and handover
- Support the planning and execution of construction-sequenced activities
- Assist with progress updates and development of schedule look-a heads
- Assist with raising TQs, variations, and delay notices
- Review and monitor the availability of drawings, specifications, material deliveries and tools applicable to particular E&I areas of work
- Demonstrate and apply technical skills to prepare proficient, accurate and timely technical documentation
About You: Our ideal candidate will be Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering and RPEQ be able to demonstrate sound technical experience. You will have experience in a range of the responsibilities listed above, gained from working in a technical C&I role.
