About the job:

As a Cranes & Rigging Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a crew of Crane operators and riggers in installing Structural Steel, Piping, Valves and Equipment, on an Oil & Gas Project on a Brownfields Construction Environment.You will assist with developing and implementing Construction lift Plans, developing project-specific procedures for lifting and rigging.

Details and Responsibilities:

• Supervision of employees and subcontractors
• Management of day to day Rigging and Crane Activities
• Receives direction from, and communicates daily with the Superintendent
• Responsible for field construction operations within assigned discipline or area.
• Coordinate with the Heavy lift contractor on site for Module and Major Equipment installation
• Coordinates established areas, crane/ lifting operational plans.
• Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.
• Monitors work activities and ensures the quality of work performed.

Qualification/ Certification:

• Holds a high-risk license for rigging (RI or RA).
• Holds a high-risk license for slew crane (Min C6 ticket or greater C1 or CO)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in multi-discipline and leadership role
• Knowledgeable of current industry and technical developments.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills
• Experience in developing Construction activities risk Assessments, SWMS, and Permit to Work
• Strong technical and analytical skills to provide solutions on site
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and procedures
• Technical background in SMP would be an advantage
• Hi Risk Work Licence for the following- RA – Rigger Advanced, CN – Non-Slew Crane, WP - Elevated Work Platform, Forklift, Dogman,
• Hydraulic Crane Experience - such as Demag, Todano, Leibherr & Grove
• Crawler Crane Experience -such as Liebherr & Manitowoc
• Experience in Brownfields Oil & Gas, Mining, or General Crane Operations
