About the role:

As Civil Construction Superintendent you will be responsible for developing and implementing Construction strategies for a cutting edge project approx. 20km from Brisbane CBD. You will also be responsible for developing project-specific procedures based on Kent Integrated Management System, management of piping/structural fabrication, and management of construction activities on the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage bulk earthworks, piling, detailed civil excavation and foundation works on greenfield and brownfield sites
• Lead a team of Supervisors to deliver construction program targets
• Lead all civil construction activities with a focus on Safety, Quality Assurance, and Compliance
• Develop civil component of the Construction Execution Plan through liaison with project
• Participants and with reference to Kent Integrated Management System
• Apply project management principles to manage work scopes within schedule and budget
• Laise with sub-contractors to establish best for project outcomes
• Adopt industry best practice for coordinating and executing civil and piping activities
• Laise with construction engineers to develop Work packs for civil scopes.
• Interface with project stakeholders to ensure necessary documentation is available when required.
• Provide input to overall project schedule and planning.
• Identify project risks. Participate in project risk workshops.
• Participate in Construction Risk Assessments.

About You:

Our ideal candidate will possess a minimum Cert IV in Civil Construction and 15 years work experience in a similar role. You will process excellent leadership and supervisory skills and be deeply committed to cultivating a strong culture of HSSE.
