About the Job:

Kent is looking for an Accounts Officer on a permanent basis based in Mumbai. You will be responsible for the accurate recording and reconciliation of Banking transactions in Oracle ERP and be integral to the monthly closing process

Skills and Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions and bank balances
• Manage cash inflows and outflows to ensure liquidity
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and treasury reports
• Handle bank transactions, payments, and fund transfers
• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions
• Assist in short-term and long-term cash planning
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and treasury policies
• Assist in audits and regulatory reporting related to treasury activities
• Record and process customer payments
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are received on time
• Follow up on overdue accounts and send payment reminders
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger with general ledger
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or customer inquiries
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Generate accounts receivable reports for management
• Assist with month-end closing procedures
• Prepare and process payments
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and files
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor due dates to ensure timely payments
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments regarding payments

Assist with as-building deliverables In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:

• University Degree
• Oracle Fusion experience required
