Skills and Responsibilities:
Accounting and Month-end
- Preparation and posting of journal entries including month end adjustments, accruals, prepayments, depreciation
- Close out of subledgers in ERP
- Intercompany loan and trading reconciliation
- Prepare intercompany invoices
- Monitoring and reconciliation of Accounts Payable Ageing
Accounts Payable
- Three-way matching
- Supplier set-up and payment details
- Verify, record and resolve any invoice discrepancies
- Set-up of payment runs including checking back-up and approval
- Review, posting and payment of expense claims
- Maintain necessary documentation and correspondence
- Monitor and maintain Corporate Payable mailbox
- Respond to vendor and employee follow ups and queries
Cash
- Bank transactions, payments and bank reconciliations
- Intercompany fund transfer
Compliance
- Assist in the documentation requests for corporate entity VAT submission
- Assist with audit requests as required
Adhoc
- Perform adhoc tasks as required
- Contribute to the continuous Process Improvement of the AP process
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Qualification/ Certification:
- University Degree
- Professional accounting qualification strongly desired
- Oracle Fusion experience required
- 1-2 years of experience.
- Location Mumbai
Communication:
- Excellent oral and written communication and skills.
Core Competencies:
- Microsoft Office and ERP experience required (Oracle preferred)
