Our Approach to Sustainability

Our sustainability strategy, Sustainability. by Kent, is built around three core pillars: empowering people to prosper, supporting a thriving planet, and living with purpose and principles. Together, they provide the framework for how we make decisions, measure progress and create lasting value across our business.

In 2025, we strengthened this approach by undertaking a Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) with an independent specialist, in line with evolving global best practice. By considering both the impact of our operations on people and the environment, and how sustainability issues influence our business, the assessment helps ensure our priorities remain focused on the areas where we can make the greatest difference.

The Role of our Sustainability Council

Our Sustainability Council continues to play a central role in delivering our sustainability strategy. Chaired by our VP of Sustainability and sponsored by our CEO, the Council brings together senior stakeholders from across our functions and operational businesses to guide implementation and drive accountability across the organisation.

Each priority area is led by a Council member responsible for developing dedicated roadmaps, guiding working groups and monitoring progress against our commitments. Our operational leaders help translate strategy into action, sharing insights, best practices and lessons learned to support continuous improvement across the business.
