Kent is looking for a Senior Piping and Layout Engineer to join our multidisciplinary Engineering team based in Woking. The duration is for 6 months with a possibility of extension.

Scope of Work:

• Assist in the development of layout concepts and supporting sketches.
• Originate site plan and unit plot plans in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare layout and utility plan (LUP) sketches to support design development.
• Develop and issue 3D model CAD design instructions for implementation.
• Coordinate piping designers within the designated area or unit to ensure consistency and progress.
• Organize and lead 3D model reviews, ensuring all review comments are addressed and closed.
• Facilitate cross-discipline coordination for the designated area or unit to resolve interfaces and ensure alignment.
  

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and significant experience in working in relevant industry sectors
• Exposure to Pipe Materials consultancy, Pre-FEED / FEED/ detailed engineering design and EPC projects
• In depth knowledge of applicable international and industry specifications, standards, and codes
• Knowledge of safety and quality procedures and best practice
• Specialist/high competency in specific areas of Piping Material engineering
• Global work share coordination and management experience
• Excellent coordination, monitoring and supervisory skills. Excellent communication skills
• Tactful in resolving issues.
• Alertness and attention to detail.
