Kent Data Centres is pleased to announce that it has entered into a strategic ecosystem agreement with Finnish infrastructure development platform Aurora Energy Valley.

The agreement establishes Kent Data Centres as Aurora Energy Valley's lead Strategic Design & Development collaborator across the development of Aurora’s AI Campus projects. The first project under the agreement will be the Lohja Muijala Data Center 2030™, which will act as the flagship development for future projects.

Under the agreement, Kent Data Centres will lead the technical development, planning and integration of these projects, ensuring each AI Campus is designed to the strict international standards required by clients and operators. The agreement also positions Kent Data Centres as the preferred strategic design and development team for future Aurora Energy Valley ProjectCo developments across Finland and the wider Nordic region.

Aurora Energy Valley's portfolio currently spans approximately 9,000 hectares of identified development land and a renewable energy pipeline estimated at between 8 and 15 GW.

John Rippingale, CEO of Kent Data Centres, commented:

"This collaboration with Aurora Energy Valley comes at a great time, with the Nordic region representing one of the most compelling areas for global digital infrastructure growth right now. By becoming Aurora Energy Valley’s lead Strategic Design & Development collaborator, we can be involved at the earliest stages and help turn ambitious development plans into investable, operational infrastructure — which is exactly the kind of long-term strategic relationship that unlocks real value for our clients.”

Henri Kuntsi, Founder of Aurora Energy Valley, said:

"Kent Data Centres brings the technical leadership and international delivery experience we were looking for as we develop our long-term AI Campus platform. Their expertise across design, engineering and integrated infrastructure gives us confidence as we progress our flagship project and build a scalable ecosystem capable of supporting future developments across Finland and the Nordic region."

This agreement reflects Kent Data Centres continued focus on building strategic collaborations that strengthen regional capability and advance the development of resilient and future-ready projects.
