Kent celebrates sustainability award at Oil & Gas Middle East Awards

Kent has won the Sustainability and Energy Transition Initiative category at the Oil & Gas Middle East Awards, recognising our hybrid solar energy programme in Saudi Arabia and its contribution to reducing our Scope 1 and 2 emissions.

The programme forms part of Kent’s wider sustainability strategy, focused on delivering practical, measurable action that supports both people and planet. Rather than treating sustainability as an ambition in isolation, our approach is centred on real-world change across our operations and the energy solutions we deliver.

In 2025, Kent achieved a 22% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, contributing to a 43% reduction from our 2022 baseline and surpassing our 2027 target of a 30% reduction. At the same time, 32% of our revenue came from low-carbon solutions and renewables, reflecting the continued growth of our energy transition portfolio.

This award recognises the progress being made across Kent to operate more responsibly while helping deliver the energy the world needs today and tomorrow.
