The winning award entry was for our Carbon Intensity Reduction Package, which helps our clients to assess and reduce GHG emissions, even identifying the options with no initial CAPEX. This targeted technology is integrated with capacity and process modelling tools, designed to quantify changes in #ghgemissions throughout an #oilandgas asset's field life. The tool allows us to theoretically test and evaluate the impact that operational and/or physical modifications to a process could have on an asset’s emissions. Our Carbon Intensity Reduction Package has recently been utilised to develop an Emission Reduction Action Plan for a major North Sea producer, defining the optimum roadmap of modifications required to successfully achieve the North Sea Transition Deal’s emission reduction targets. Big shout to our ‘Process and Software Engineering’ team, led by Kerrin Graham, Process Engineer at Kent, for developing this great piece of technology worthy of this award.
