IQPC Germany Wind Week 2026
Kent will be attending Wind Week Germany 2026, joining the industry at a pivotal moment for European wind energy. As onshore and offshore wind capacity across Europe continues to scale to meet ambitious decarbonisation targets, the technical challenges of delivering resilient, long-life wind infrastructure have never been more important, and Kent brings decades of engineering experience to that conversation.
As part of the event Dr John Edwards, Kent's Chief Engineer, Materials and Corrosion, and Amy Johnstone, Senior Engineer, will present "Comparing Cathodic Protection Standards for Offshore Wind'.
The presentation will cover the role of cathodic protection and coatings in corrosion protection for offshore wind, examining the similarities and differences in design parameters, methodology and results. John and Amy will also share design and certification considerations for each code, drawing on case study findings and Kent’s direct project experience.
